Lauren Palmer is a Junior at Saint Crocus Private School for Girls, a hyper wealthy all-girls school in the city. She is kind and well-liked by all but spends most of her time with her best friend, Lacey Langley-Shoyu. They were both in the school's elite tennis club and were training for Nationals as a doubles team. That was until three weeks ago. Three weeks ago, she killed her best friend.
